Long-time Resident
Like so many others, I came to Moscow for the University of Idaho and I stayed because it's a great place to live and work. Moscow is where I met my wife Jade and where we made our first home back in 2005. We've lived in apartments and rental houses, bought our first home in 2012 and our current home in 2019. We have loved every neighborhood we've lived in.​​​
Free Cookie Friday
When our kids were younger, we got to know our neighbors through something we called Free Cookie Friday. At the end of each week we'd set up a table and chairs at the end of our driveway and hand out freshly baked cookies to friends, neighbors, and passersby. Our house on Damen Street was in the perfect location to catch elementary kids headed home one way and middle school and high school kids headed home another.
where once a week we'd hand out cookies after school. We kept the tradition going for more than seven years and loved every moment of it.
Registered Nurse
I've been a hospital-based registered nurse in the area for the last 14 years, since graduated from Lewis-Clark State College with a BSN. Most of my experience has been in the emergency department, where it's been my privilege to take care of hundreds of community members. The skills I've used as a nurse -- listening, prioritizing needs, and problem-solving -- are the same I believe will help me represent you on the city council.
Family Affair
Moscow has been such a great place to raise our five children (ages 11, 14, 14, 16, and 18). I've been able to meet many of you through their activities, whether it's been at swim meets or soccer matches, community theater productions or robotics competitions.
