Right person, right time

I’ve known Ben for his entire life, and know he is the right person at the right time for our community. As he has always done, he will seek to unify us. His ties to the University of Idaho hearken all the way back to his great-grandparents, and he knows the vital role the UI plays in this town. I know he will seek to preserve and enhance what is best about this place, and help lead Moscow to its best possible future.

Advocate for everyone

I met Ben Stellmon when he was working as an Emergency Room RN. From the getgo, Ben always demonstrated a commitment to his community that is second to none. He truly cares for the people he comes into contact with, and is always willing to help brighten someone's day, even if that just means a kind word.

Ben is exactly the type of leader that Moscow needs, as his care for our community is not bound by the petty political differences that currently divide us. He cares for everyone and will be an advocate for everyone.

Patient and levelheaded

I have had the pleasure of working alongside Ben for several years. He is the clinical coordinator nurse at the hospital where we work. Seeing him in action is impressive because of his patience and levelheadedness, especially when things get busy and stressful. He is an incredible leader in that he is able to connect with every single employee we work with. He holds our team together by leading with his actions and letting us know how supported we are. We are really lucky to get to work with Ben, and we would be really lucky to have him in a leadership role for our community.
